Military Doula Package

First, I want to thank you for your service to our country! Whether you or your spouse is the Service member (or you both are), your service allows me the freedom to own my own business.

As a way to thank you, I have created a Military Doula Package just for Service members and their spouses. This is package is slightly different from my Doula Package.

Military Doula Package benefits before delivery

• 1-2 Prenatal Visits
• 10% discount for Military families
• Unlimited text, email and phone available after initial visit
• 2 weeks before and after due date I am “on call” 24 hours a day

The one pre-natal visit is where I meet you and your spouse (if he is available). We will go over your birthing plan, if you have one. If you do not, I will work with you to develop one.

The birthing plan helps you, your spouse, and me all know what you want. I encourage you to share your birthing plan with your medical professional. It is best when we are all on the same page when it comes to your pre-natal and delivery room care.

The advantages of having a doula do not stop at the creation of a birthing plan. Many moms-to-be tend to stress over the actual labor and delivery process. Sometimes just knowing that another woman will be there who is there for YOU can make all the difference.

Military Doula Package benefits during labor and delivery

• Back up doula to provide support until my arrival (as needed)
• Will be present during labor and delivery to one hour after birth
• In the room with you the entire time (except when requested to leave by hospital staff)
• Will encourage dad-to-be to grab a bite to eat, take a nap, or a short walk as needed
• Will take photos during labor/delivery as asked (per hospital regulations)

Being a doula does not stop right after birth. I care about my doula clients, their spouses, and their new little bundles of joy. This is why my doula packages include a follow-up visit after delivery.

Sometimes my patients have questions that they feel are not “worthy” of asking their doctor. I am happy to help as I can and do encourage my clients to seek medical professional advice when needed.

Military Doula Package benefits after birth

• A phone call and a couple texts to see how you and baby are doing once home
• One post-partum visit to see you and baby (and Dad)
• CD of hospital photos given to you at post-partum visit (if requested to be taken)

Pre-pregnancy and post-pregnancy massage packages are available for an additional cost. Some of my doula clients choose to receive more massages than the one included in the Military Doula Package.
